Soviet infantry fighting vehicle in the Polish army

The BWP-1 is a Soviet infantry fighting vehicle, adopted into service in the mid-1960s. Designed as the first mass-produced vehicle of its kind, it combined mobility, amphibious capabilities and stronger armament than previously used armored personnel carriers.

The BMP-1 model became a widely exported design and for decades formed the backbone of mechanized formations in many armies around the world, including Poland. The first units arrived in Poland in 1973–1974. For a long time it was the basis of the Polish mechanized infantry forces, but in recent years it has become increasingly clear that its heyday is over. Poland has transferred many of its BWP-1s to fighting Ukraine. In our set we therefore give the builder a choice of Polish and Ukrainian vehicle markings!

Armed and ready!

In the basic version, the troop compartment accommodates four soldiers. Standard armament includes a 73 mm 2A28 Grom smoothbore cannon coupled with a PKT machine gun, as well as a 9M14 "Malutka" anti-tank guided missile launcher.

Combat experience on many fronts!

The BWP-1 has proven itself in numerous armed conflicts: from wars in the Middle East, through the intervention in Afghanistan and fighting in Chechnya, to modern battlefields. Combat experience highlighted its advantages, such as simple design, reliability and high mobility. At the same time, its limitations were revealed, primarily the relatively weak armor and outdated weapons systems, which over time began to lag behind modern standards.

Returns

In the event that faulty / broken goods are received or items are missing from your order, Jumblies Models should be notified via email within 30 days after the order date.

Please state if the goods are faulty, damaged or missing.

Jumblies Models will contact you a.s.a.p with instructions on how to return the goods. A replacement will be sent to on receipt of the returned model. 

Please note we operate a 30 Days returns policy from date of purchase.

Goods returned for other reasons (eg. wrongs goods ordered or model not liked by the customer) must be received by Jumblies Models in New, Unused condition and with no damages. In order to return goods you must email Jumblies Models within 30 working days from the receipt. The return postage will not be refunded via this return reason. A full refund for model amount shall be refunded on receipt of goods returned.

If you have ordered a Model kit, you have 30 days from date of purchase to advise of any faulty or missing parts. After the 30 days the warranty passes to the Manufacturer.

Pre-order Deposits

Deposits are required for each model that is pre ordered. Deposit amount’s can range from £5.00 - £50.00 depending on the full price of the model.

All deposits received are;

•  Non transferable to other purchases or products
•  Non refundable if you cancel your order
•  Non refundable if you fail to pay the balance of the pre-ordered models within 7 days of receipt of notification.
•  Non refundable if the product is released after any advertised release date (All release dates are subject to change and are estimates at time of announcement)
•  Refundable if we cannot supply you with the product Pre ordered due to an allocation by the manufacturer.
•  Refundable if the product is cancelled by the Manufacturer.
•  Refundable If the product has not been released from 9 months of your Original order date and you wish to cancel. (Please note the 9 Months Cancelation Condition is Void when the model has been released)

When you receive notification of your pre-order coming into stock and you no longer require the product you pre-ordered, please notify us via email or phone within 7 days. Failure to notify us on 3 separate occasions will result in cancellation of all current outstanding pre-orders. We are not obliged to refund the deposits paid on the outstanding pre-orders. Refunds are made at our discretion.
