The post-war era saw victorious Allied nations harnessing captured German jet research to propel their own aviation technology forward, leading to a new generation of swept-wing fighters.

When tensions erupted into conflict on the Korean peninsula, the skies became a proving ground for the world's most advanced jets - the American F-86 Sabre and Soviet MiG-15. This would mark the first major aerial combat of the Cold War.

The US Air Force fielded not only the exceptional Sabre, a true pilot's aircraft, but also veteran airmen who had proven themselves in the Second World War. Among these accomplished pilots was William T. Whisner, already a 15.5 victory ace from WWII.

Flying North American's magnificent fighter over Korea, he claimed 2 enemy aircraft destroyed in the F-86A and 3 more in the later F-86E, with additional shared and damaged victories.

Whisner achieved the rare distinction of becoming one of only seven US airmen to earn 'Ace' status in two wars, and uniquely, the only pilot awarded three Distinguished Flying Crosses.

The Sabre's dominance in Korean skies proved devastating to enemy forces. During a 32-month period of the war, the magnificent North American F-86 accounted for 792 of the over 800 Soviet-made MiG-15 fighters shot down by Allied airmen.

Returns

In the event that faulty / broken goods are received or items are missing from your order, Jumblies Models should be notified via email within 30 days after the order date.

Please state if the goods are faulty, damaged or missing.

Jumblies Models will contact you a.s.a.p with instructions on how to return the goods. A replacement will be sent to on receipt of the returned model. 

Please note we operate a 30 Days returns policy from date of purchase.

Goods returned for other reasons (eg. wrongs goods ordered or model not liked by the customer) must be received by Jumblies Models in New, Unused condition and with no damages. In order to return goods you must email Jumblies Models within 30 working days from the receipt. The return postage will not be refunded via this return reason. A full refund for model amount shall be refunded on receipt of goods returned.

If you have ordered a Model kit, you have 30 days from date of purchase to advise of any faulty or missing parts. After the 30 days the warranty passes to the Manufacturer.

Pre-order Deposits

Deposits are required for each model that is pre ordered. Deposit amount’s can range from £5.00 - £50.00 depending on the full price of the model.

All deposits received are;

•  Non transferable to other purchases or products
•  Non refundable if you cancel your order
•  Non refundable if you fail to pay the balance of the pre-ordered models within 7 days of receipt of notification.
•  Non refundable if the product is released after any advertised release date (All release dates are subject to change and are estimates at time of announcement)
•  Refundable if we cannot supply you with the product Pre ordered due to an allocation by the manufacturer.
•  Refundable if the product is cancelled by the Manufacturer.
•  Refundable If the product has not been released from 9 months of your Original order date and you wish to cancel. (Please note the 9 Months Cancelation Condition is Void when the model has been released)

When you receive notification of your pre-order coming into stock and you no longer require the product you pre-ordered, please notify us via email or phone within 7 days. Failure to notify us on 3 separate occasions will result in cancellation of all current outstanding pre-orders. We are not obliged to refund the deposits paid on the outstanding pre-orders. Refunds are made at our discretion.
