Fritz Lang’s 1927 phenomenon, “Metropolis” returns in this intricately faithful reproduction of famed creative mind Walter Schulze-Mittendorf’s Machine Man “Maria”. The “Maschinenmensch”, the fictional robot from Fritz Lang’s silent film Metropolis, was originally played by German actress Brigitte Helm, both as the titular robot “gynoid” and its human form. In the movie, the robot was created by the scientist Rotwang as an approximation of his former lover, Hel. Maschinenmensch was one of the first, and perhaps most iconic fictional robots ever depicted in cinema, and went on to be one of the primary influences of robotic design in both feature film, television and technology. The 1:8 scale model features Maria in her/its most iconic pose, as it stands with an air of awe and deepest fascination for Rotwang’s greatest creation. This time with the parts moulded in beige silver colour reminiscent of the silver screen era. As an added detail, avid fans of the classic silent film will appreciate the text found at the back of the throne as well as "HEL" embossed in the iconic Metropolis typeface; a reminder of the original form of Rotwang's obsession.

Returns

In the event that faulty / broken goods are received or items are missing from your order, Jumblies Models should be notified via email within 30 days after the order date.

Please state if the goods are faulty, damaged or missing.

Jumblies Models will contact you a.s.a.p with instructions on how to return the goods. A replacement will be sent to on receipt of the returned model.

Please note we operate a 30 Days returns policy from date of purchase.

Goods returned for other reasons (eg. wrongs goods ordered or model not liked by the customer) must be received by Jumblies Models in New, Unused condition and with no damages. In order to return goods you must email Jumblies Models within 30 working days from the receipt. The return postage will not be refunded via this return reason. A full refund for model amount shall be refunded on receipt of goods returned.

If you have ordered a Model kit, you have 30 days from date of purchase to advise of any faulty or missing parts. After the 30 days the warranty passes to the Manufacturer.

Pre-order Deposits

Deposits are required for each model that is pre ordered. Deposit amount’s can range from £5.00 - £20.00 depending on the full price of the model.

All deposits received are;

•  Non transferable to other purchases or products
•  Non refundable if you cancel your order
•  Non refundable if you fail to pay the balance of the pre-ordered models within 7 days of receipt of notification.
•  Non refundable if the product is released after any advertised release date (All release dates are subject to change and are estimates at time of announcement)
•  Refundable if we cannot supply you with the product Pre ordered due to an allocation by the manufacturer.
•  Refundable if the product is cancelled by the Manufacturer.
•  Refundable If the product has not been released from 9 months of your Original order date and you wish to cancel. (Please note the 9 Months Cancelation Condition is Void when the model has been released)

When you receive notification of your pre-order coming into stock and you no longer require the product you pre-ordered, please notify us via email or phone within 7 days. Failure to notify us on 3 separate occasions will result in cancellation of all current outstanding pre-orders. We are not obliged to refund the deposits paid on the outstanding pre-orders. Refunds are made at our discretion.
