The 49th first came into existence in 1941 as the 49th Pursuit Squadron and in 1949 was inactivated. In 1952 the unit was re-activated as the 49th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron and once again inactivated in 1987 reactivated in 1990 as the 49th Flying Training Squadron. Located at Columbus AFB, Mississippi their mission is to conduct the advanced phase of undergraduate pilot training and basic procedures and techniques for fighters. In 2003 their name was changed to 49th Fighter Training Squadron to make it more mission related.

The 50th Flying Training Squadron is part of the 14th Flying Training Wing based at Columbus AFB, Mississippi. They have been conducting pilot training since 1972. Like the 49th FTS also based at Columbus, their mission is to apply advanced training to undergraduate pilots. The students put in 37 hours of simulator, 69 sorties in the T-38C comprising 96.9 hours. They learn tactics, maneuvers and tactical navigation. Upon a successful completion they earn their pilots wings.

Returns

In the event that faulty / broken goods are received or items are missing from your order, Jumblies Models should be notified via email within 30 days after the order date.

Please state if the goods are faulty, damaged or missing.

Jumblies Models will contact you a.s.a.p with instructions on how to return the goods. A replacement will be sent to on receipt of the returned model.

Please note we operate a 30 Days returns policy from date of purchase.

Goods returned for other reasons (eg. wrongs goods ordered or model not liked by the customer) must be received by Jumblies Models in New, Unused condition and with no damages. In order to return goods you must email Jumblies Models within 30 working days from the receipt. The return postage will not be refunded via this return reason. A full refund for model amount shall be refunded on receipt of goods returned.

If you have ordered a Model kit, you have 30 days from date of purchase to advise of any faulty or missing parts. After the 30 days the warranty passes to the Manufacturer.

Pre-order Deposits

Deposits are required for each model that is pre ordered. Deposit amount’s can range from £5.00 - £20.00 depending on the full price of the model.

All deposits received are;

•  Non transferable to other purchases or products
•  Non refundable if you cancel your order
•  Non refundable if you fail to pay the balance of the pre-ordered models within 7 days of receipt of notification.
•  Non refundable if the product is released after any advertised release date (All release dates are subject to change and are estimates at time of announcement)
•  Refundable if we cannot supply you with the product Pre ordered due to an allocation by the manufacturer.
•  Refundable if the product is cancelled by the Manufacturer.
•  Refundable If the product has not been released from 9 months of your Original order date and you wish to cancel. (Please note the 9 Months Cancelation Condition is Void when the model has been released)

When you receive notification of your pre-order coming into stock and you no longer require the product you pre-ordered, please notify us via email or phone within 7 days. Failure to notify us on 3 separate occasions will result in cancellation of all current outstanding pre-orders. We are not obliged to refund the deposits paid on the outstanding pre-orders. Refunds are made at our discretion.
