The afternoon of 14th January 1945 was no ordinary day at USAAF Station 145 Rackheath, in Norfolk. Thirty B-24 Liberators from the 467th Bomb Group had been allocated to take part in a raid against steelworks at Hallendorf, near Hanover and had left the base at approximately 09.00. One of the aircraft taking part in the raid was named ‘Witchcraft’ and on her return, she would set a mission record for the entire Second Air Division, one which had attracted the attention of USAAF ‘Top Brass’. As the aircraft returned to their home airfield 6 hours and 35 minutes after they took off, 42-52534 ‘Witchcraft’ landed and parked up in her usual hardstanding position, to be met by General Ketner, Commander of the 2nd Air Division and other high ranking officials, not to mention a film crew and members of the press – even the famous ‘Rackheath Band’ were in attendance.

‘Witchcraft’ had just completed her 100th credited mission without suffering a single mechanical abort, a real testament to the efforts of her assigned ground crew. Known colloquially as the ‘League of Nations’, the ground crew was led by M/Sgt Joe Ramirez, who was of Mexican heritage, with other members of his team being of Chinese, German, Dutch and American extraction. General Ketner presented each member of the ground crew with an award to mark this significant wartime achievement and a quite extraordinary bomber.

Returns

In the event that faulty / broken goods are received or items are missing from your order, Jumblies Models should be notified via email within 30 days after the order date.

Please state if the goods are faulty, damaged or missing.

Jumblies Models will contact you a.s.a.p with instructions on how to return the goods. A replacement will be sent to on receipt of the returned model.

Please note we operate a 30 Days returns policy from date of purchase.

Goods returned for other reasons (eg. wrongs goods ordered or model not liked by the customer) must be received by Jumblies Models in New, Unused condition and with no damages. In order to return goods you must email Jumblies Models within 30 working days from the receipt. The return postage will not be refunded via this return reason. A full refund for model amount shall be refunded on receipt of goods returned.

If you have ordered a Model kit, you have 30 days from date of purchase to advise of any faulty or missing parts. After the 30 days the warranty passes to the Manufacturer.

Pre-order Deposits

Deposits are required for each model that is pre ordered. Deposit amount’s can range from £5.00 - £20.00 depending on the full price of the model.

All deposits received are;

•  Non transferable to other purchases or products
•  Non refundable if you cancel your order
•  Non refundable if you fail to pay the balance of the pre-ordered models within 7 days of receipt of notification.
•  Non refundable if the product is released after any advertised release date (All release dates are subject to change and are estimates at time of announcement)
•  Refundable if we cannot supply you with the product Pre ordered due to an allocation by the manufacturer.
•  Refundable if the product is cancelled by the Manufacturer.
•  Refundable If the product has not been released from 9 months of your Original order date and you wish to cancel. (Please note the 9 Months Cancelation Condition is Void when the model has been released)

When you receive notification of your pre-order coming into stock and you no longer require the product you pre-ordered, please notify us via email or phone within 7 days. Failure to notify us on 3 separate occasions will result in cancellation of all current outstanding pre-orders. We are not obliged to refund the deposits paid on the outstanding pre-orders. Refunds are made at our discretion.
