Dragon Armor models is a series of die-cast models released by popular military figure brand Dragon Models. Based in Hong Kong, the company is dedicated to offering high quality die-cast models and military action figures to its worldwide customer base.
Founded in 1987, the company has a wide range of export lines, including the "Military Miniatures" which is a series of scale figures and vehicles available in kit form. Many of these kits are focus on World War II-era military subjects, and are aimed mainly at those with experience in model building.
The brand then added ‘Dragon Wings’ to its portfolio of Dragon Armor models in 1997, which is a range of 1/400 scale aircraft models, which were sold fully finished in over 100 various models.
In 1999, Dragon introduced its New Generation Life Action Figure series, which featured a range of military models and licensed 12-inch figures with cloth uniforms, weapons and equipment.
Later, in 2003 Dragon introduced a further line of die-cast models, named Dragon Armor, to complement the Warbirds series of fighter aircrafts. The pre-assembled and pre-painted range of models feature amazing detail and accuracy, which subsequently made the Dragon Armor models range a much sort after collection, even to this day.
Today, the Dragon Armor models business portfolio includes modelling kits, plastic models, action figures and die-cast models.
